Our Story
Since 2000, in the business of getting things made and moved
AFFHAN International Pvt Ltd was registered in July 2000 and has traded every year since — 26 of them. The group's head office is in Appavoo Tower on West Madha Church Road, Royapuram, a few hundred metres from Harbour Gate 3 in Chennai. It is the address on our invoices, on our Google Business Profile, and on the import documents that clear through Chennai Port.
How the group is put together
Affhan is not one company with agents abroad. Each country we work in has its own registered entity and its own staff: AFFHAN INTERNATIONAL PVT LTD in Chennai, GUANGZHOU AFFHAN INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD in Guangdong, AFFHAN INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore, AFFHAN INTERNATIONAL SDN. BHD. in Melaka, AFFHAN SHIPPING LLC in Dubai, and AFFHAN INTERNATIONAL LTD in London and Paris. Seven offices in seven countries, which is why the factory floor in Guangdong and the customs queue in Chennai are both covered by our own people rather than by a broker we have never met.
What we actually do
Three things, in order. We find the product — from a catalogue of more than 10 lakh items across 500+ categories, or from a photograph and a specification if it is not listed. We check it: supplier verification, factory visits and pre-shipment inspection. Then we move it — sea and air freight, LCL and FCL, NVOCC consolidation, customs clearance and door-to-door delivery, with warehousing at either end when a shipment needs it.
There are no prices anywhere on this website, and that is deliberate. Everything here is sourced to order, so quantity, specification, material and destination all move the number. Send an inquiry on any product and the quotation comes back from a person who has priced that lane before.
Who you will be dealing with
Afzal Khan founded Affhan and still runs it as Founder and CEO. Mohamed Yacoob is Chief Operating Officer, Jamil Ahamed Chief Marketing Officer, Iliyas Ahmed Chief Financial Officer and Jafeer Ahamed Chief Technology Officer. Operations overseas are run by people who live there: Nandhinee in the UAE, Anis Dawood in the United Kingdom, Muhammad Kassim in Malaysia, and Chen Yuchao looking after customer experience from China. Why buyers stay
AFFHAN Group holds a 4.8 out of 5 rating across 144 Google reviews, on a profile registered to the Chennai head office. That is the least interesting reason. The better one is that an import has roughly forty ways to go wrong between a drawing and a delivered container, and most of them are dull — a missing certificate, a carton size that wastes a third of the pallet, an HS code that invites a query. 26 years is mostly a long list of those, already made.

Goods leave our suppliers for more than 190 markets, but the corridors we run most are the ones our offices sit on.
